Swift Transportation's forecast misses

Swift Transportation Co. (NYSE: SWFT) reported lower second quarter earnings of 28 cents per diluted share compared with 35 cents per diluted share and blamed a shortage of truck drivers for forecasting current quarter revenue below expectations. Shares of the transportation services company plummeted $4.61 to close at $21.20.
